Skiing 15 minutes away in January and February, warm lake and quiet trails in June and September. The best off-peak windows.

Shoulder season: CA$7,000 per month, for january, february, june, september.

July · August · December

$10,500/ month

Peak of the year — full summer on the lake in July and August, the holiday season under snow in December.

High season: CA$10,500 per month, for july, august, december.

The discount applies to the total stay, across all seasons.

Example: 3 months in low season = CA$15,000 − 10% = CA$13,500.

Rental terms for Barron Lakehouse (288 chemin Cambria, Gore, Quebec). All amounts are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

Minimum stay: 32 nights. Past 31 nights the rental falls under the Civil Code rather than Quebec’s tourist-accommodation regime (CITQ).
Long-stay discounts: 5% from 2 months, 10% from 3 months, 20% from 6 months. Applied to the total stay.
Base rate: 8 guests included, children counted. Additional guest: $50 per night. Maximum 14 guests (8 adults and 6 children).
Deposit: 50% at contract signing, by Interac e-Transfer.
Balance: 30 days before arrival, by Interac e-Transfer.
Security: $2,000 by separate Interac, returned within 7 days after departure if all is in order.
Final cleaning fee: $300.
Check-in: 3 pm. Check-out: 11 am.
Non-smoking indoors. No pets.
An outdoor camera covers the property entrance (no indoor cameras) — disclosed in the contract before signing.
Outdoor firewood provided. Linens and towels included.
Watercraft: kayaks and paddleboards available. Usage rules provided on arrival.
Renter-brought boat: prior declaration and approval required. Accepted: pontoon ≤ 60 HP, rowboat, unmasted sailboat. Refused: wake/wakesurf/water-ski boats with ballast, personal watercraft (Sea-Doo), motor > 60 HP. Valid Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) and renter liability insurance required.
